Ahead of launch tomorrow, the 2019 Ford Figo’s brochure has leaked online. As per the Leaked Images, one can see that the new model will get a host of visual upgrades, latest features and new engine options. While the old Figo was available in Base, Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium+ grades, Ford will offer the new Figo in only Ambiente, Titanium and a new Titanium Blu grade.
2019 Ford Figo Colour options on offer are Red, Silver, Blue, Black, Grey, Gold and White. With Titanium Blu, only 3 of them are on offer, with dual tone finish – White, Silver and Grey.
The Ford Figo Ambiente gets a blacked out grille, front fog lamp surrounds, body coloured front and rear bumpers, 14” steel wheels and rear fog lamps. Interiors boasts of an all-black colour scheme, tilt adjustable steering, day and night inside rear view mirrors and fabric seats. It also receives adjustable front seat headrests and a 12V power socket. the Ford Figo Ambient trim sees dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, manual AC, speed sensing door locks, front power windows and an electric boot release as far as safety features are concerned.
The range topping Titanium gets 14” alloy wheels, body colored wing mirrors with integrated indicators, blacked out B Pillar, climate control, all four power windows, power folding and adjustable wing mirrors, a chrome grille and front fog lamp surrounds along with a rear defogger. Interior highlights include height adjustable driver seat, adjustable rear headrests, a 7” touchscreen infotainment system with AUX, USB and Bluetooth and four speakers. Safety features include traction control, hill start assist, navigation, steering mounted controls and reverse camera along with keyless entry and push button start.
The newly introduced Titanium Blu grade can be seen as a replacement for the Sports Edition. The variant gets Absolute Black mesh grille, Absolute Black ORVMs, blue fog lamp bezels, 15-inch Premium Black alloy wheels, sporty decals, black roof and Blu interior.
The New Figo will get the new 1.2 litre 3 cylinder Dragon series petrol engine. The 1.2-litre engine produces 96 PS at 6,500 rpm and 120 Nm of torque at 4,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.5-litre petrol engine produces 123 PS of power at 6,500 rpm and 150 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. It is coupled to a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
