German luxury carmaker Mercedes-Benz has launched the AMG C43 Coupe in India. Priced at Rs 75 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the two-door coupe is based on the C-Class. The Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe completes the C Class line-up in India and will arrive as CBU in the Country. The Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe will rival the Audi S5 and the BMW M2 Competition in India.

The latest-gen C43 Coupe was introduced globally last year. At the front, The Model gets new AMG radiator grille with twin louver finished in matte iridium silver and large air dams on the bumper. The C43 also gets redesigned LED headlamps with DRLs on top. The Coupe gets 19-inch AMG alloys for that sporty appeal and a striking rear diffuser and two round twin tailpipes at the rear.

Talking about the Interior, the C43 Coupe gets a specially crafted three-spoke flat-bottom AMG steering wheel in black Artico handmade leather with contrast stitching and ergonomically positioned touch-control buttons. It also gets a head-up display, a 10.5-inch centre mounted infotainment display and a massive all-digital 12.3-inch instrumentation cluster, with ‘Classic’, ‘Progressive’ and ‘Sporty’ modes.

The new AMG C43 Coupe is powered by the same 3.0-litre V6 engine that was used to propel the C43 4MATIC sedan earlier sold in India, but in a different state of tune. The 3.0-litre V6 motor puts out 385 bhp, 23 bhp more than its predecessor, and a hefty 520 Nm of peak torque. The Engine is mated to a 9-speed AMG Speedshift gearbox. It also gets 4MATIC all-wheel drive with rear-biased 31:69 power distribution, along with AMG’s three-stage adjustable suspension damping from its elder sibling AMG C63. The C43 can do a 0-100kmph sprint in just 4.7 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph.
