Ford India’s cumulative sales (domestic and export) for the month of December 2018 stood at 24,420 vehicles compared to 29,795 vehicles in the same month last year. The company sold 5840 vehicles in the Domestic market in December 2018 as against 5087 units in the same period last year. The exports for the month of December 2018 stood at 18,580 vehicles, a decline from 24,708 units in December 2017.
The company registered double-digit growth in domestic wholesales for the calendar year 2018. The company sold 97,804 units in the Domestic Market, a growth of 12% from 87,588 units in 2017. Domestic wholesales figures for 2018 were also the highest ever in Ford India’s history.
Combined domestic wholesale and exports in the calendar year 2018 grew to 265,714 units from 262,784 units in 2017.
