Hero MotoCorp is going forward with the launches of much awaited Hero Maestro 125 and Hero Pleasure 110 scooters. These were first showcased at Auto Expo 2018. The launch date is set to be May 13, 2019.
Hero Maestro Edge 125 being the sportier version of Destini 125, shares the same underpinnings and is targeted at young generation. It features sharp lines, alloy wheels, USB charging and the company’s i3S start-stop technology to achieve higher efficiency. It generates 8.5 bhp and 10.2 Nm of peak torque from the 125cc single cylinder air-cooled engine while being paired to a CVT.
As it is targeted at young set of buyers, company may tweak the engine for quicker response. It comes with an optional front disc brake option, and a fuel-injected variant. It also has a digital-analog instrument console with a side stand indicator, service reminder, external fuel-filler cap and more. It carries a price tag of INR 57,000.
the Hero Maestro Edge 125 will take on a number of offerings including the Honda Grazia, TVS NTorq, Aprilia SR 125, Vespa VX and many more.
The 2019 Hero Pleasure also gets a host of updates and will sport an extremely contemporary look over the predecessor. The 2019 Pleasure is likely to get the same 102 cc single-cylinder engine which it currently gets which churns out 6.9 hp of power and 8.1 Nm of peak torque.
