Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has announced that they sold 13,006 units in November 2018. The company registered a growth of 10% in the Domestic Market when compared to 11,819 units sold in the corresponding month last year.
The company also claimed they have registered a cumulative growth of 3.7% selling 121,658 units during April- November period in 2018, against 117,322 units in the corresponding period of April – November in 2017.
HCIL also exported a total of 543 units in November 2018.
Mr. Rajesh Goel, Sr. Vice President and Director, Sales and Marketing, Honda Cars India Ltd said, “While the overall auto industry’s growth has remained muted, HCIL could register 10% growth last month. This is largely due to Diwali which happened in Nov this year as compared to being in October last year along with continued good performance of All New Amaze and robust sales of models like City & WR-V. Our consumer offers were also very attractive.”
