As soon as KTM launched the baby Duke, there has been news that the company will launch its RC version. Now the KTM India has confirmed the faired sibling. The teaser has been released by the Austrian manufacturer for KTM RC 125 and it seems that the bike will not take long to get on sale as the dealerships across country. The company has started taking bookings for the bike by accepting a token amount of INR 5,000.
The teaser reveals less about the bike but we know that like other RCs this baby RC will be no different. It is said that this RC will sport a new black and orange body graphics complemented by the orange alloy wheels. Mechanically, it will use the same 124cc engine from Duke 125 that churns 14.3 bhp of power and 12 Nm of peak torque, while paired with a 6-speed gearbox. All other mechanics like suspension, brakes will be carried forward from Duke family along with single channel ABS.
It is expected to get a price tag of INR 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it about INR 10,000 more expensive than the 125 Duke. After getting priced around this price segment it will get compared with the superior bikes like Yamaha R15 V3.
