The Mahindra XUV300 took off with flying colours and since Jan 9, the date when dealers started accepting booking for the SUV, it gathered 4000 bookings so far according to the figures told by Mahindra. The much-awaited compact SUV is going to hit showrooms on 14th Feb, 2019.
To give a preview to our readers: XUV300 will get two engine options, a 1.5-litre diesel unit tuned for 117hp, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol that is tuned for 110hp, mated to the same transmission.
At a later stage though, the company is expected to give this already famous SUV an automatic transmission as well. XUV300’s petrol and diesel engines mileage are 17kmpl and 20kmpl, respectively. What makes this Mahindra SUV stand out in the crowd of competitors are the first-in segment features like dual-zone climate control, front parking sensors, steering modes, heated wing mirrors and best-in class cabin space.
