The leading Automobile Manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India, has released its Feb 2019 sales report. And it has come to our surprise that despite giving several discounts on its line-up and constantly updating the models, the company has recorded a flat sales growth for the 8-consecutive month. Some cars like Alto and Wagon R have negative sales growth this month and recorded a 26.7 percent dip, compared to sales done in Feb 2018. This dip has been balanced by the sales of new Wagon R, Celerio, Ignis, new Swift, Baleno, and DZire, which recorded a surge of 11.4 percent.
Ciaz is the new mantel piece for Maruti Suzuki that stand alone recorded a growth of 37 percent, growing from 4,897 units sold in February 2018 to 3,084 units sold in the past month. The MPV and Compact SUV segment also saw a 7.4 percent increase.
