Royal Enfield has recalled 7,000 units of Bullet 350 & 500 and Electra 350 & 500 variants that were manufactured between March 20 and April 30 this year. This recall is related to a issue of a faulty brake caliper bolt. According to RE, Caliper Bolt has failed to meet the required torque quality standards and as a precautionary measure it will be corrected given the importance of the particular part.

Royal Enfield has recently updated their portfolio with ABS systems. The corrective actions will be carried out at the service stations free of cost. Customers will be contacted, or they can themselves check if their bike falls under the recall. RE, is a popular brand, has a history attached to it and carries an emotional connection with their customers. It is by far the most affordable retro styled modern classic motorcycle that one can own.
