Suzuki Ertiga Sport unveiled at the 2018 GIIAS Indonesia

Suzuki has unveiled the Sport version of the 2nd generation Ertiga at the ongoing Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show in Jakarta. The MPV which was recently updates, now features a number of changes on the exterior while the mechanicals remain unchanged.

The Suzuki Ertiga Sport features smoked LED DRL’s and a blacked out front grille in addition to getting 18-inch alloy wheels. The ride height has been reduced and this is evident from the side profile of the car. At the rear, the Ertiga sport gets a roof mounted faux diffuser.

The mechanicals on the car remain unchanged. The new K15B 1.5L VVT 4 Cylinder Petrol engine will debut on the 2018 Ertiga that produces 104.7 PS at 6,000 rpm and 138 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. This Particular engine will replace the present K14B 1.4L VVT petrol engine. The 2018 Ertiga will come a 5 Speed Manual or 4 Speed AMT option. The claimed fuel efficiency for the manual is 18.06kmpl and 16.73kmpl for the AMT option.

The new 1.5-liter engine will make its debut in India with the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift later this month. The 2nd generation Ertiga will be introduced in India during the festive period and will compete with the likes of the Toyota Innova and the upcoming Mahindra Marazzo.
