Triumph Motorcycles will be adding the new Street Twin in its Indian Range on April 24,2019. The Outgoing model is now available with eye catching discounts and accessories, till the stock lasts.
Globally, the Speed Twin comes in three colour choices. It remains to be seen which paint options make it to the Indian market. The three colours are: Silver Ice and Storm Grey, with hand-painted Graphite coach line and white stripe; Korosi Red and Storm Grey, with hand-painted Graphite coach line and white stripe and Jet Black.

The New Street Twin will be powered by the same 1,200 cc liquid cooled, 8-valve, SOHC, parallel-twin Bonneville engine with a 270-degree crank angle that makes 96 bhp at 6,750 rpm and a peak torque of 112 Nm at 4,950 rpm. The motor is paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Triumph calls it a modern custom roadster and one can easily spot classic fluid lines, retro styled panels, round analogue instrument cluster and chiselled fuel tank.
It will also feature ride-by-wire, torque-assisted clutch along with three riding modes (Road, Sport and Rain), ABS, Switchable traction control, DRLs, and a USB charging port. hock absorption tasks at the front are performed by cartridge forks, while at the rear, there are twin suspension units with adjustable spring pre-load.
Launch prices are expected to be around INR 11 Lakhs. Booking have begun at dealership level and deliveries will follow by the end of April or an early May 2019.
