Yamaha has announced the accessories offered by the company for recently launched FZ and FZ-S V3.0 motorcycles in the country. These can be purchased from the authorised dealers only.
Yamaha has been very generous regarding the prices of these accessories. For example: tank pad that protects the fuel tank from scratches is priced at Rs.175 only, new body decals for fuel tank and shrouds are priced at Rs.800. Side panels and tail section accessories are also available. Range is between Rs.175 to Rs.800. List also include a handlebar-mounted USB charger priced at Rs.750, a metal pillion footrest that is priced at Rs.400, an engine underbelly bash plate for Rs.300, engine guard for Rs.800 and a black seat cover for Rs.300.
Sadly, this model from Yamaha does not get any performance upgrades, so the machine will run on stock 149 cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine tuned for 13.2 bhp at 8000 rpm and 12.8 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm, paired to 5-speed gearbox.
The third generation FZ was introduced in January with major cosmetic changes and now also includes dual-channel ABS safety tech. 2019 FZ V3.0 is priced at Rs.95,000, while the FZ-S V3.0 is priced at Rs.97,000 (ex-showroom Delhi). In the Indian Market, it faces competition from Suzuki Gixxer, Honda CB Hornet 160R, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the Hero Xtreme 200R.
