Zero Motorcycles SF/R teased ahead of official debut

Formerly called Electricross, Zero motorcycles is an American Company started in 2006 by a former NASA Engineer, Neal Saiki. The company has released a teaser regarding a new bike on its social media channels. The company plans to unveil it on February 25, 2018. The teaser image reveals a full LED setup with LED DRLs on the bike. The image also reveals upside-down telescopic front forks.

The company stated on its website, “Backed by thirteen years of innovation and iteration, setbacks and what-ifs, our next evolution will be the first of its kind. Effortless power. Precise instinct. This is the future of motorcycling.”

The new motorcycle is likely to be called as SR/F and will be placed in the street naked bike category. Built on a completely new platform, the SR/F will further extend Zero Motorcycles’ Naked Street portfolio that includes the S and the SR. while the S is the standard variant, the SR is the premium offering from the company.

A Motorcycle Manufacturing Company by NASA Engineer, one can only imagine the future of Motorcycling Industry with this combination. Since Zero inception, a range of fully electric motorcycles have been introduced. The brand offers DS and DSR in Ride Through Anything range, and Zero FX and FXS in the Stealthy Supermoto range.
